BIOGRAPHY
Ambassador António de Almeida Ribeiro was born in Lisbon on 22/08/55. He is married to Isabel Cordovil de Almeida Ribeiro and has two sons.
He graduated in 1976 from the Faculty of Law (Legal and Political Sciences), University of Coimbra.
He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1979 where he held a wide variety of positions.

1986 Auditor of the NATO Defence College
1988 Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy in Praia (Cape Verde)
