Ambassador Muñoz was Undersecretary of Multilateral Affairs (June 2018 to November 2020). She participated as Delegate of Ecuador to Environmental Negotiations within the United Nations Convention of Biodiversity (UNCBD); Convention of Climate Change (UNCCC); Assembly and Board of the Charles Darwin Foundation for the Galapagos Islands. Ambassador Muñoz also participated in Trade Negotiations in WTO Doha Round; Negotiations for Banana Market Access with the EU; Panels for Ecuadorian “fine and flavor” cocoa, UN General Assembly meetings, among others.
